Dineo Ranaka has been sharing more on health and her condition with her social media followers since she had a public meltdown on social media where she shared that she was trying hard not to commit suicide.

In a recent three part post the radio host and DJ went into details about her condition, her fears and her ancestral calling .

She shared a three part “carousel thread” adding:

“Temporal Lobe Epilepsy, a dangerous epilepsy, this I live with it. I’ve been living with it since mid twenties. It frightens me honestly.”

“Imagine having seizures in your sleep. So I experience seizures in my sleep. My fear is what if I don’t wake up?”

Dineo also went on to add that people can sometimes be judgemental without knowing what a person is really faced with. She also shared that people should not assume that she’s an unhappy person just because she suffers from depression, adding that she’s got a lot to be happy and thankful for.

In part two of the carousel thread the Dineo’s Diary reality TV star added, “We need to start considering that depression is a neurological condition. Its just not a mental illness or mental condition.”

Dineo went on to share that she believed that her depression was triggered by her temporal lobe epilepsy.

In the third and final carousel, Dineo educated her followers on her ancestral calling. She shared:

“Please understand, I did not go to ephehlweni (ancestral calling initiation school)  to cure my medical conditions. I went because I am spiritually called and needed to learn how to have discernment to channel my gift .”

The vibrant mother concluded her back-to back posts by thanking those who have stood by her adding:

” I truly appreciate the love and support received. I’m sorry I couldn’t talk. I was in deep conversations with me, so I couldn’t talk to you. I see you and I will honour you with continued love and respect. ”
