Social media posts, name-calling, phone calls, and finally lawyers. This is how the online spat between actor and media personality Siv Ngesi and The Kifness, real name David Scott, is unfolding.

Both Siv and The Kifness are known for making their voices heard about issues they feel strongly about.

The trouble began with a political post that quickly escalated into a heated back-and-forth between the two. Followers of both personalities soon joined the fray, adding their comments and taking sides.

As the situation intensified, the exchange of sharp words wasn’t confined to social media. It spilled over into phone conversations, and eventually, lawyers.

The ongoing dispute has garnered significant attention, with many wondering how far it will go and what the implications might be for both parties.

Read some of the posts and reactions:

@TheKiffness: “Why is @iamSivN trying to cancel me for pointing out that 69% of white South Africans voted against Apartheid in the 1992 referendum?”

Well-known podcaster Penuel “The Black Pen” Mlotshwa also stepped in, asking if the issue could not be resolved. “Is there any way this can be resolved without lawyers… and so that we can build together without fighting each other? Or is this a lost cause between the 2 of you? I come in peace.”
