Serge Cabonge sets the record straight on THAT R114,500 alcohol bill

Businessman Serge Cabonge has openly admitted to spending money on beautiful women in the past. But he’s changed tactics and says he’d rather spend it on his friends.
The former “international blesser” reportedly splashed out R114 518 at popular Durban hangout spot Rockets in Umhlanga during the Durban July weekend.
The receipt for the bill was shared on X, formerly Twitter, by controversial blogger Musa Khawula. The waiter had also been generously tipped with R114 518.00.
When asked about the bill which included champagne and energy drinks, Cabonge told TshisaLive that the Durban July called for a celebration, even though he wasn’t a drinker.
“You know I don’t drink; Durban July doesn’t happen every month or weekend, happens once a year. If I’m chilling with my friends having a good time I see nothing wrong with that, because the day I die I’ll never enjoy my money,” he told the publication.
“I spent that money for my friends, and anyone who has got a problem with that, they can go fly a kite.”
Earlier this year, Cabonge found himself homeless in Dubai after the hotel he was staying at flooded.
He was in the UAE country celebrating his daughter’s birthday when widespread rain showers hit the nation.
“We celebrated my daughter’s birthday over the weekend… On Tuesday, we woke up to flooding in our hotel rooms… We are safe at the moment… And we are still seeking alternative accommodation,” he told Sunday World.
Cabonge said the only thing that mattered was that his family was safe.
