Senzo Meyiwa’s brother dismisses claims that Kelly ordered the hit

“I know Gininda is lying, this is how he operates,” these are the words of Sifiso Meyiwa, brother to the slain Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa.

In an exclusive interview on the broadcasting news channel, eNCA, Sifiso accused both the State as well as the Investigating Officer Brigadier Bongani Gininda of lying to protect the real person behind the murder of his brother Senzo.

This comes after Bongani made his court appearance at the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria last Wednesday and testified that two of the accused Muzikawukhulelwa Sibiya and Bongani Ntanzi, revealed that the girlfriend of the star was the mastermind behind the hit.

Sifiso meanwhile believes that this is impossible and says that he has been following the Investigating Officer Bongani’s cases for a while now and claims that he is corrupt and fabricating everything to protect his interest.

“I know him, I’ve followed his cases… He is lying, Kelly did not hire hitmen to kill Senzo,” he said.

“I will keep on saying this, the person who killed Senzo was in the house, but that person is being protected,” he added.

While some evidence obtained by authorities may point to Kelly, Sifiso says that Brigadier is a manipulator and most likely planted the evidence himself.

He later added that the state might be in cahoots. This is after one of the suspects, Bongani Ntanzi testified that Brigadier offered him R3 million for a confession, which the Investigating officer later denied.

He recalls an occasion where another man who got offered a bribe attempted to testify at the Pietermaritzburg court but kicked out by the magistrate.

Sifiso says that even though Kelly was his girlfriend she loved him endlessly and would never kill him.
