Social media personality Lasizwe Dambuza along with his friends and colleagues enjoyed a special lunch in honour of Pride Month.

In South Africa, Pride Month (which celebrates the lives of people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and other forms of gender identities) is celebrated in October. The Perfect Picture winner, who collaborated with the local sneaker brand Bathu, lunched at Ethos restaurant in Rosebank for the event.

Taking to Instagram, Lasizwe captioned his post, “Welcome to my little cute lunch! ?. I had this little idea of hosting my friends and colleagues who are in the LGBTQWAAAAAA community doing amazing things in their fields of work. The community has always been raising issues and fighting for inclusion and diversity! TODAY WE CELEBRATE EACH OTHER, WE CELEBRATE OUR WIN AND WE CELEBRATE EACH OTHER!”

He continued, “This is how we open PRIDE MONTH!!! Happy Pride Month and thank you to @bathu_sa for always supporting my ideas and making them a reality! ?❤️ #HappyPrideMonth.”

Lasizwe’s brother Lungile Mcunu – who he is often seen with – commented on the post, “On this one, because it’s Pride Month, I will let the wig slide. I must say you look good fully dressed ntwana yam.”

Adding a side note, Lungile stated, “I haven’t publicly mentioned how proud I am of you. The fact that you could gather the LGHDTV COMMUNITY together and celebrate each other. I’m very proud of the man you are becoming.”

Responding to his brother’s comment, the YouTuber said, “awww Lungile?❤️!!! Kanti you can be sweet sometimes,” adding, “And it’s the LGBTQI+ community ? and you are part of the community!!!!?.”
