Scotts Maphuma on thin ice with fans after mocking a gifted portrait

Upcoming amapiano sensation Scotts Maphuma, born Mpho Lebajoa is the current hot topic as fans voice frustration with the artist after a video of him ill-treating a fan recently surfaced.

After taking mzansi and the world by storm as a breath of fresh air in the amapiano space with his consecutive bangers and now popular tag ‘bathini bona’ which translates to ‘what did they say’, the youngster is in hot water after he failed to show gratitude and appreciation to a fan who gifted him with a portrait that they had made for the artist.

When stumbling on the short clip, fans and spectators have expressed disappointment in the ‘Wishi Wishi’ hit-maker’s lack of humility and overall decorum. They believe that even if he did not like the art piece, showing appreciation to a fan who took time out of their day to show admiration to him would have been the best course of action as an artist whose career depends on his likability.

There’s nothing more despicable than an ungrateful person! He didn’t have to do all of that…. He could have stored it away & move on!

Continuing, users have expressed their eagerness to witness the downfall of the upcoming star, as his actions have left a bitter taste in their mouths. However, some fans have come out to defend the youngster, citing his previous encounters with fans, where he showed them some love and appreciation.

Guys, as much as Scotts is a bad person and all, I think this vid has been blown out of proportion. He probably went on to take the portrait. For example, check this; pic.twitter.com/ZfXRfWrJb5
