SA reacts to The Bala family show premiere

The Bala Family aired the first episode of their reality show yesterday at 8pm on Mzansi Magic (DSTV 161).

Twitter users seemed to have enjoyed the first episode leaving many looking forward next week’s one.

The viewers loved of the realness of the family, with many showing love to the Bala brother’s mother for marrying her late husband’s friend.

Twitter user @peachrobyn wrote “Bathong (My Gosh) the Bala Family reality show is so real. Haibo (Wow) the mum getting married to the late dad’s friend?”

User @Certified_Phara wrote “ I was never ready for Bab Jafta fakazing (telling) on Makoti (the wife) having a short skirt with no doek (head cover).  NAH I LOVE THIS SHOW sis Pinky also dropping grenades for control, Phelo being Hella nonchalant about Big Brother MY FAMILY.”

Other Twitter users were also shocked to realise that the three brothers also have a sister named Pinky. @Akhonacakata wrote, “I’m loving this family and didn’t even know they have a sister- Pinky is so beautiful.”

The show promises us a glimpse into the lives of the Bala brothers Zwai, Loyiso and Phelo and the rest of their family. As a family the famous brothers differ on how they view issues relation to religion, sexuality and many other topics and those will all be aired on the show.

If Twitter is anything to go by, the Bala Family show has potential to be one of the most loved reality shows in the country. For now, we wait in anticipation for next week’s episode.
