As Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City said, “After all, computers crash, people die, relationships fall apart. The best we can do is breathe and reboot.”

In the year 2024, many celebrity relationships and marriages came to an end, with most of them leaving mzansi shocked.

Letoya Makhene and Lebohang Pulumo Keswa

The pair tied the knot in 2022, in an African-themed traditional wedding. In an interview with Sunday World earlier last year, Lebo made claims that Letoya abused her physically and cheated on her with an alleged drug dealer and another woman. The estranged couple announced their separation in June last year. However, speaking to News24, Letoya disputed Lebo’s claims and said that they lack consistency.

Letoya took to her Instagram page to share her interview with Radio 2000, where she spoke about her music and touched on her marriage.

Bobby and Annatjie van Jaarsveld

The singer and his wife announced their divorce after 13 years of marriage. The couple shared a statement on the socials, clarifying their reasons. The pair have known each other since Grade 8 and got married in 2011.

In the statement, Bobby said: “After much consideration, Anna and I have made the most difficult decision of our lives together- to end our marriage. The decision was not taken lightly, but we believe, after much time and consideration, it’s best for both of us right now.”

Siya and Rachel Kolisi

This separation remains unbelievable to some, as most looked up to the Kolisi’s union. The duo shared a statement on their socials. The statement cited that Siya and Rachel will remain great friends and committed partners in raising their children with the same love and care they have always known.
