Wedding bells can be heard chiming for The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) star and businesswoman Slindile ‘Slee’ Ndlovu as her doctor boyfriend recently asked for her hand in marriage.

Without verifying the wedding date, Slee confirmed that they had moved in together with her fiancé after their families met to discuss lobola negotiations.

Speaking to Zimoja, she said “Ngingumntwana wedlozi (I am an ancestral child). I wouldn’t just move in with a man without him going to my family first.”

A source close to her revealed to the publication that the doctor who is not in the limelight like Slee will start making appearances on the reality TV show to support his bride-to-be.

This is a second chance at love for the reality star as she was dealt with a messy break-up with her ex-fiancé, AmaZulu football Club boss Sandile Zungu who is now married to another woman.

The break-up led to Slee moving out of her family home leaving her two daughters aged 15 and 11 behind.

In an interview with the entertainment publication, SowetanLIVE; the businesswoman said:

“As women, we tend to forget ourselves and focus on the people around us. Leaving all that I had wasn’t an easy transition for me… it took me remembering that I was ‘Slee’ who had a purpose before I met him. I was a functioning human being who would sustain herself before the lifestyle he provided me – yes, it took time to re-adjust but what helped was being true and realistic about the situation I was faced with.

“I would constantly have honest conversations with myself about what I wanted and what I needed. I knew I had to downgrade my lifestyle and didn’t mind it when people called me broke – that was my reality and I was OK with it,” said Slee.
