Ayanda Ncwane, who is the late widow of Gospel musician Sifiso Ncwane is allegedly owing South African Revenue Service (SARS) more than R2 million, for her late husband’s company Ncwane communications, a company she took over after her husband’s passing in 2016.

According to City Press, the former Real Housewives of Durban hasn’t been paying tax since 2020, It was also reported that fashion influencer removed herself from sole ownership of the company and added her younger brother Phupho Gumede, known as a stylist for South African celebrities.

The stylist takes on the sole directorship for Ncwane Communications and businesswoman Ayanda remains the CEO of the company.

The company is operational and offers marketing, public relations and events coordination.

Several reports say Ncwane has allegedly been given a 10 business days notice to settle the debt owed to SARS but yet to respond. Her demand letter from SARS read: “According to the records of the SA Revenue Service, you have failed to pay your tax debt for one or more tax years and/or tax periods. You are requested to make full payment within 10 business days from the date of this letter of demand.”

“You may within 10 business days from the date of this letter of apply for any of the following remedies, compromise of a portion of the tax, where this will provide a higher return to the fiscus than liquidation, sequestration, or other collection measures.”

The letter states that this businesswoman might lose some of her luxury belongings such as her home in Dainfern, northern Johannesburg, a Range Rover Sport, a Mercedes-Benz, and a Ferrari.
