South African reality TV star, musician, and socialite Inno Matijane has taken to social media to discuss her current financial struggles.

Known for her role in the popular reality TV show The Way Ngingakhona, on channel 157  Inno’s heartfelt post on Facebook detailed the challenges she is facing, including losing her home and grappling with significant debts.

In her post, Inno wrote, “I’ve driven luxury cars, stayed in big houses. I started being independent and making money when I was 18 I believe. I shared that life with Y’all when life was good, but now no car, and in a few days I will lose my home (By Friday I need to be out of this house) I don’t even know where I’ll go, I have crazy debts, and I will share with you to that part of my life too.”

She highlighted the pressures of maintaining an image, admitting that her desire to appear successful contributed to her current situation.

“I have crazy debts, and I will share with you that part of my life too. I am not going to hire a Mercedes Benz just so that I can impress strangers and know when I post a car like that I’ll get 100k likes, no I will use my taxi even though I haven’t since 2015 and start from the ground because I am not too proud. Some of the debts if not most of it I got in them because I was like, ‘But I am a celebrity, I am a baddie’. People can’t see me down, if it weren’t for that my situation wouldn’t be this worse,” she explained.

In a powerful message to her followers, Inno urged them to let go of societal pressures and focus on solving their problems without further complicating their lives.

“I really need you guys to listen to me right now. Even you reading this, you know life is hard but because you don’t want people to see, you trying to get yourself into more problems to keep up. Surrender, forget people, and start from the stretch. Solving problems with problems won’t help you, you’re only burying yourself even more.”
