After managing to save her home from exchanging ownership, reality star Mpumi Mophatlane, better known as Mrs Mops, is now looking to face the inevitable.

In the latest episode of the reality show The Mommy Club, Mpumi shocked viewers and fellow cast members alike after announcing that she would be stepping away from her role on the show for the rest of the season but would continue to support from the sidelines.

There has been speculation that the sudden departure has a lot to do with the prospective sale of her Waterkloof mansion, which has been listed as being on auction for a second time. According to the entertainment publication Sunday World she and her husband Isaac currently owe the creditors at Nedbank R9 million.

This is not the first time the couple has had to deal with this dilemma. In season 2 of the reality show, Mpumi has had to make use of restaurants and various other locations to shoot scenes for the reality show after their home was placed up for auction with the highest bid being R5.8 million under Bidders Choice.

Meanwhile, IOL reports that an on-site viewing of the property was held on Wednesday, and the auction will take place on Wednesday, March 5.

Those looking to secure the house are required to pay a registration fee of R50 000.
