Radio personality Linda Sibiya lands a role on Uzalo

From the radio frequencies, all the way to South African television screens, radio personality and former Ukhozi FM host is ready to show just how talented he is.

The 49-year-old, popularly known as Mr Magic has recently been announced as one of the newest cast members to join the family in one of South Africa’s popular drama series – Uzalo who will be celebrating its 10th season.

Taking to their Instagram page, the production team shared a post welcoming the media personality to their family, while the ambitious star, later reposted Uzalo’s post on his Instagram story as a way of showing just how excited he is about kick-starting his career.

At this point, there is still limited information about the character that he will be portraying, but by the looks of it, there already seems to be a lot that viewers can expect.

It has been revealed that he will play the legend who joins K-Mash FM amid turbulent times as he attempts to revive the station and reclaim its former glory.

With this year marking its 10th anniversary, producer King David Mekwevho has revealed that they wanted viewers to be part of the milest9ne celebration.

Speaking to local news publication The Daily Sun, he said: “Throughout the decade, Uzalo has shattered its viewership records, setting new standards of excellence in Mzansi television. Not only have we entertained audiences far and wide, but we have also been a gateway for new talent both in front and behind the camera.

“As we welcome new members to our dynamic team, we invite our loyal viewers to join us for another thrilling season.

He later thanked fans for being part of the journey, adding:

“Your unwavering support fuels our passion and in season 10, we commit to bring even more drama and excitement.”
