By her admission, Rachel Kolisi says her family has moved four times in the past 18 months. Still, it can’t be easy for the mom of two.

Shortly after the Springboks raised the Freedom Cup in Cape Town this past weekend, Rachel raced back home to Paris, France to pack her family’s belongings and trek to South Africa.

The move comes after her husband and Springbok captain Siya Kolisi announced his return to The Sharks from Racing92.

Siya’s close friend Eben Etzebeth shared his excitement with Rugby365. “It is amazing. In my career, it’s one of the best things I’ve heard in a long time off the field,” he told the publication.

Although the Kolisis had been in Paris for less than a year, it didn’t make the stress of moving less anxious for Rachel.

She shared a video of the process on Instagram: “This week has been a roller coaster of emotions but grateful for every call and message of encouragement and support!”

Before she bid farewell to the City of Lights, she managed to squeeze in an event with Clarins and dinner with her Racing92 pals.

Showing her support for her bestie, Layla Kolbe responded: “You’ve got this! This was me a few months ago! Kom huis toe my maatjie.”

In his parting words with Rugby365, Eben said, “I just hope the whole of South Africa appreciates what it means to have him back. He is an unbelievable player and warrior.”

Not a truer word was spoken!
