Rachel Kolisi has given fans an intimate glimpse into her life, sharing a heartfelt update about where she’s at right now.

The businesswoman and former wife of Springbok captain Siya Kolisi took to Instagram with an honest reflection on the past few weeks, writing: “Moments from the last couple of weeks. The simple life is the dream.

Family, good people, health. Grateful for it all. I’m in a very ‘unknown’ space at the moment and working hard to find a way through. In the meantime, peace is my portion, and celebrating all the good, even when it feels like it’s just a sunrise. Happy Monday!”

Rachel and Siya, who announced their split six months ago, are still very much in the public eye as they navigate co-parenting and their separate paths. But that hasn’t stopped them from making headlines in their own right.

Both recently landed major magazine covers, which naturally sparked some playful comparisons online.

Rachel graced the March/April 2025 cover of Women’s Health South Africa, where she opened up about her fitness journey and commitment to wellness, inspiring many with her resilience.

Meanwhile, Siya appeared on the April GQ South Africa Sports and Tech cover, diving into his rugby career, leadership, and work in sports innovation.

Beyond her fitness and business ventures, Rachel has also made a big move in stepping away from The Kolisi Foundation, which she co-founded with Siya in 2019.

The organisation has played a huge role in tackling inequality in South Africa, focusing on education, sport, gender-based violence, and food security. News of her departure was shared by The Justice Desk, an anti-GBV NGO, marking a major transition for her.

Through it all, Rachel continues to embrace life’s changes with grace, keeping her focus on family, health, and personal growth. And if her latest post is anything to go by, she’s choosing peace – one sunrise at a time.
