South African award-winning rapper Mthembeni Ndevu better known as Emtee expressed his love for KwaZulu Natal rapper and actor Jabulani Hadebe, also known as Sjava.
Emtee was born in Matatiele and grew up in Rockville, Soweto where he started his music career at the age of 17. He is known for his popular hit ‘Roll up’ among many.
On a post about his appreciation for Sjava, the rapper mentioned that they used to dream about the positions they are in now and how proud he is.
Sjava’s singing career started in 2005, after working as a taxi driver for a while. Recently, he teamed up with Big Zulu together releasing an album called Ukhamba with hits such as Umbayimbayi and Sayona.
At some point the two artists were signed under the same record label, Ambitiouz Entertainment. Both of their first hit singles were released in 2015 and they have featured each other in many songs thus far. They evolved and opened their own separate record labels where they are currently signed.
Sharing a picture of himself and Sjava, Emtee captioned his post:
“Till this day sisabonisana. I remember us having these typa of convos dreaming of the position we in today. Proud of you big bro @sjava_atm and I love you ??.”
