Proud husband vibes: Sizwe Mpofu-Walsh celebrates his wife’s PhD graduation

In this household, there is reason for double celebration! Dr. Sumaya Hendricks recently received her PhD, making it an extremely impressive accomplishment to now have two doctorates under one house.

Smiling with pride, Sizwe Mpofu-Walsh celebrates a major turning point in his wife Sumaya Hendrick’s academic career. The author and artist took to social media to show his happiness and love for Sumaya, who just received her doctorate.

In his Instagram post, the proud husband wrote, “There are now two PhDs in the house. Congratulations to DOCTOR Sumaya Hendricks! So proud of you!”

It is obvious that the couple is headed for even greater things, both individually and together, as they enjoy this well-earned moment.

The Internet users did not waste any time as they shared congratulatory messages in the comment section of the social media platform mentioned above.

One user said, “MashaAllah, congratulations! This is a different type of flex!”

Another user jokingly commented, “Nah I’m unfollowing. I feel like I ain’t going no where (followed by laughing emojis). Where else are people getting two PHDs in the same house wow(followed by heart emojis) damn.”

“This is great! Congratulations Sumaya,” and another Instagram user shared.

According to the YouthVillage, “Sizwe and Sumaya have been married for 12 years, and are still going strong. In April 2022, they welcomed their son Hakim Thembekile.”
