Multi-award-winning DJ, Kabelo Motsamai, popularly known as Prince Kaybe, has expressed his gratitude to his supporters for their valuable insights following his disclosure of partial memory loss.

The Gugulethu hitmaker recently took to his X (formerly Twitter) page to share his concerns about his alarming memory loss incidents. In a candid post, Prince Kaybee revealed that he suffers from a serious amnesia; the doctors said that he has underlying conditions that affect his brain. He also shared that he wonders how long he can keep what is left of his memory.

“I’m not gonna lie, this is rocking me man, I have kids to raise,” he penned.

Appreciate the positive instructions in the comments, and those that reached out in the DM.

THANK YOU❤️ https://t.co/cQzv7aiT24

X users weighed in:

Oh man this gave me a lump on my throat. We’re around the same age and I have the same condition but still unsure what causes it. A scan showed that my brain was shrinking 😏 and when I asked questions, no tangible answers were received (Government hospital)

Ah KayBee, l wish l could give you a hug.

I can sympathize, l developed a speech impediment through childhood trauma – when l was told my voice is too soft, people making comments like “why do you speak like that?!”. It got worse when l would be intentionally ignored.

Earlier, he discussed how his memory loss affects him. He mentioned that he once took an Uber home and later realised that he had forgotten his car at the airport.

Left the airport in an Uber only to find out I actually forgot my car at the airport. My partial loss of memory has gotten to a critical stage, embarrassing.
