Prince Kaybee defends Anele Mdoda amid online trolling

Music producer Prince Kaybee recently showed his softer side when an online troll took things too far with radio personality Anele Mdoda.

The Anele and the Club on 947 host often finds herself the target of incessant online bullying and like other celebrities, doesn’t pay it much heed.

This time, the internationally acclaimed DJ seemed to have had enough and took a screenshot of a response to Anele’s X post (formerly Twitter).

The X user initially wrote: “Why do people with no kids think they are special?”

It was a question on a public platform to which Anele replied: “Why does it bother you that they think they are special?”

But @_LeratoMabuzaM took things to the next level and brought Anele’s son into the conversation: “Sit this one down, ndoda. I will post why your son doesn’t have a dad, and then you can comment. This one is for my special people.”

The triggering post must have stirred something in Kaybee. Not only did he screenshot the tweet, but he quote-tweeted it as well.

“It hurts to see people being this impolite to others with personal attacks,” wrote the muso.

Kaybee’s comment wasn’t enough to quell the masses. X users still had lots to say.

“I think for the longest time celebrities behaved as if they’re gods and people are tired of them. SA riched a level of not giving a Damm about popular people because of how they behave,” commented an online user.

Another said: “Sit this one down Champion. They will come for you.”
