Infamous DJ and record producer Kabelo Motsamai, who is more famously known as Prince Kaybee often finds himself in headlines due to controversy that he is involved in. This time, however, the musician proved that he is not entirely a villain as he assisted a family that trended on TikTok with a bakkie full of groceries.
This heartwarming story begins with an unsuspecting Phumlani Gumede sharing a clip of himself and his grandmother playing the popular ‘rock, paper, scissors’ challenge that has taken over TikTok. Phumlani and his grandmother were competing for a plate of biscuits, which would be enjoyed by the winner of the challenge.
TikTok users were quick to take to the comments to offer to instruct Phumlani to send his banking details in order for them to send him money to get an even bigger prize for him and his grandmother’s challenge. The second video, which had gained more traction, showed Phumlani and grandmother competing for some KFC which was sponsored by the community of TikTok.

Upon stumbling on this story, Prince Kaybee took things a step further and went to pay Phumlani and his family a visit in KZN town eMandeni. With him, the ‘Gugulethu’ hit-maker brought along a bakkie full of groceries for the family.

Prince Kaybee responded and joked that sharing videos of this nature would mess with the antagonistic reputation that he has built on the platform.
Lol don’t ruin my bad reputation here on twitter, keep the good stuff away from here. https://t.co/JvC2zzwQEm
