MacGyver Mukwevho, popularly known as MacG and Sol Phenduka recently had an exciting opportunity to attend the BET Awards, walk the red carpet and connect with various artists in America, Los Angeles.
The city’s diverse audience offers a platform to network with a wider demographic and collaborate with fellow podcasters which will ultimately extend the podcast’s influence. During their time in the US, the podcast hosts interviewed rapper, Papoose and Love and Hip Hop star Jim Jones.

The dynamic duo shared some pictures with their favourite idols on Instagram. MacG shared a snap with BET Award winner, Makhadzi. Sol also had an encounter with the well-known rapper and actor, Common.

South Africa was well presented at the awards ceremony, not only had MacG and Sol graced the red carpet, but Tyla was nominated in 4 categories and won Best New Artist and Best International Act. Makhadzi also shared the limelight as she brought home, the Best New International Act award in the viewer’s choice category.
