Play silly games, win silly prizes: Mac G issues apology to Nkosazana Daughter

Popular podcaster Macgyver Mukwevho, alias Mac G, has made a name for himself as one of the villains in Mzansi’s entertainment industry, as he does not shy away from speaking his mind, despite public opinion. The ‘Podcast and Chill’ host has issued an apology to Amapiano singer Nkosazana Daughter after he made claims against the paternity of the singer’s child.

The quarrel between the two began earlier this year during an episode of ‘Podcast and Chill’ when Mac G alleged that Nkosazana Daughter’s child with Sir Trill is actually Master KG’s child. After the Amapiano singer refuted these allegations, Mac G then urged her to escalate matters to the court of law if his claims were untrue.

“I would love it if she sued me then we would know who the real father is. She would have to prove it in a court of law. I don’t like it when celebrities say nothing when we speak good about them. And when we say something that is not nice, they accuse us of doing stuff for views,” he said.

Reports by Sunday World claim that Nkosazana Daughter, as per Mac G’s instructions, has filed a case against the controversial figure, at the Johannesburg High Court, citing defamation of her character. The above-mentioned publication reveals that the R13 million lawsuit cites that the claims made by Mac G and his colleagues have caused almost irreparable damage to her brand and public image.

“Apart from the defamatory meaning of the claims as set out above, the statements carry the additional sting that the plaintiff is deceitful, promiscuous, unprincipled, untrustworthy, adulterous and a liar, and a person without a moral fibre or valuable principles, and who generally conducts herself in an unethical and/or unprofessional manner,” the suit reads.

In the latest episode of ‘Podcast and Chill’, Mac G revealed that Nkosazana Daughter’s brother had recently shown him a picture of the child in question, and upon further inspection, he can admit that the child bears a strong resemblance to Sir Trill. He prefaces the apology by claiming that it is not linked to the lawsuit that has been making headlines, claiming that he is only apologising because he is wrong.

MacG apologizes to Nkosazana Daughter

Yesterday Sunday World reported that Nkosazana Daughter is suing MacG for R13 million.

The lawsuit arises from claims by MacG that Master KG, not Sir Trill, is the father of Nkosazana Daughter’s child.

It is clear that Mac G has not learnt his lesson, or he is determined to be Mzansi’s biggest villain because, in the same breath of the apology, he now alleges that Sir Trill is a deadbeat who does not maintain his child. “Allegedly Sir Trill is not supporting the kid,” he said.
