News of actress and TV presenter, Phumeza Shoba divorcing her husband, musician Mnqobi ‘Shota’ Shoba, after 11 years of marriage recently broke the internet – leaving netizens shocked.

According to Sunday World, Phumeza initiated divorce proceedings in July 2025, instructing her lawyers to file the necessary papers after accusing him of adultery, as well as emotional and psychological abuse.

The anonymous source of the publication said: “Phumeza said Mnqobi cheated on her, and that was the last straw that broke the camel’s back. She tried to forgive him but she found it impossible because he had betrayed her trust. You see, when you cheat, other women can forgive you, but Phumeza is unfortunately not one of those. “

The couple tied the knot in 2014, and shared their love journey with Mzansi Magic Viewers on their show named, P.S I Love You, and have four children together.

While the Shoba’s have not publicly confirmed the split, the X (formerly Twitter) users took time to weigh in on the matter.
