Controversial podcaster and public figure Penuel Mlothswa is currently the talk of the town as he divides the nation after he revealed that he has decided to withhold papgeld for three of his seven children, to get access to them.

Penuel is a prominent media personality with a reputation for his controversial stances and unwavering conviction in defending his unusual opinions. This approach seems common in the industry, as figures such as Mac G and Sol take a similar approach and have garnered much success from it.

In his most recent scandal, Penuel revealed that he is on a quest to acquire access to three of his seven kids, and according to him, the best way to do this is to withhold maintenance indefinitely. The podcaster penned a lengthy post to his social media, giving his followers insight into his current predicament.

According to Penuel, he has not been able to access his children for almost six years despite holding up his end of the bargain by providing financially for them. Penuel also revealed that he would no longer contribute to their livelihoods, and would wait until they can visit him in Johannesburg.

“I’ve struggled with access to Zulu Mlotshwa for 11 years. He’s in Newcastle, KZN. I’ve struggled with access to Shaka & Kulxa for a year, but have never been able to have them visit me in 6 years. They are in Durban, KZN,” his post reads.

This ordeal has garnered a mixed reaction as some users have rallied behind Penuel as they empathise with him not being able to his children, while some have concluded that the controversial figure is probably to blame for this. These users have encouraged him to follow the correct processes and escalate the matter to the courts, rather than airing his laundry for all to see.

Well I stand with Penuel on this one. I can’t be paying child support and not access my kids, and what most people don’t realize is that the kids suffer in the sphithiphithi of their parents. Both parents must be involved in their kids’ lives, financially and physically. https://t.co/xzmqSd5X5x
