Penny Ntuli is among top contenders for Shining Stars Award

by Samantha Mochele

A dynamic social media sensation and loved radio personality Penny Ntuli has recently been nominated for the prestigious Shining Stars Award.

Known for her vibrant presence and unwavering dedication on air, Penny’s journey in the broadcasting world has been nothing short of inspiring.

According to IOL, Penny initially joined the regional commercial radio station, Gagasi FM, where she hosted the popular weekend show, ‘Ziyakhala.’ However, her time at Gagasi FM was marked by a tough decision that sparked heated discussions on social media.

In a bold move, Penny announced on her Instagram that she would not be renewing her contract with Gagasi FM, stating dissatisfaction with the offered fee. Her departure became a hot topic on social media.

Despite the challenges she faced, Penny’s career continued to flourish. She recently made a remarkable transition to Johannesburg’s popular community radio station, Jozi FM.

Excitedly sharing the news on her social media platforms, Penny announced her new role as the host of the Mid-Morning Chat Show, airing every Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 12 PM on Jozi FM 105.8 (Channel 878 on DStv).

Penny’s contributions have not gone unnoticed. She has been nominated for the Shining Stars Award, an honour designed to recognise and celebrate outstanding individuals and organisations across various fields, including music, entrepreneurship, science, arts, and agriculture. This award highlights those who have made remarkable contributions to their respective industries.
