Sheldon Tatchell, the owner of one of South Africa’s fastest-growing barber shops, Legends Barber, is proving to his followers that with the right mindset and healthy attitude, anything can be achieved.

The renowned businessman recently took to his Instagram to share a post of just how far he has come with his goal of losing weight and living a healthier lifestyle.

The 35-year-old shared a comparison picture, showcasing his body before and after his fitness journey – after just one year of vigorous training, the results are astounding.

In his post, he wrote:

“Believing in yourself is the key to unlocking your potential and achieving your goals. I want to share my own personal journey with you as an example of what is possible when you truly believe in yourself.”

Sheldon further explained that he had been struggling with his weight for years until he eventually decided that he had enough. It was then that he made a commitment to himself that he promised to drop 30 kgs and become the best version of himself that he could be.

As with any goal-driven adventure, there are certainly tough times that come with it, however, Sheldon was determined to persevere.

“I believed in myself and my ability to succeed.”

He confessed that the biggest motivation for him was the progress he saw after putting in the work.

“As I started to see progress and feel better about myself, I realized the importance of having a positive attitude and believing in my own abilities. It’s amazing how much you can achieve when you have faith in yourself and your potential.”

Throughout last year, the Legends pioneer has participated in multiple fitness opportunities including the world-renowned Two Oceans Marathon.
