Oscar Mbo apologises to Kharishma after kicking her off stage mid performance

Don’t tell him we said so, but it is no surprise that Oscar Mbo, born Oscar Mbongeni Ndlovu has been labelled a villain in the entertainment industry, he definitely has the look for it. In an attempt to sanitise his reputation, the ‘Horns in the Sun’ hit-maker apologised to Limpopo star Kharishma after cutting her performance short.

The incident between Oscar and Kharishma, whose real name is Melita Mogale occurred during the Blouberg Spring Annual Festival last month. The incident caused uproar as the Lekompo star’s loyal supporters demanded justice for their favourite artist after she took to her social media to expose Oscar and his team. The incident resulted in the Limpopo Artists’ Movement (LAM) calling for an Oscar Mbo boycott until he issued an official apology.

Since then, Oscar has been involved in a few controversial scandals, one of which includes a similar incident with another Limpopo artist, Makhadzi. Oscar’s fidelity to long-term girlfriend Lerato Pasha has also been called into question after an unknown woman exposed her alleged intimate relationship with the infamous producer.

It appears LAM’s calls have been heard as Oscar recently hopped on the L-Tido podcast and addressed the matter. He prefaced the conversation with what seemed like a genuine apology to Kharishma.

“I would really love to apologise to Kharishma, your team, the audience who was there, everyone and the event organisers. Apologies once again. I sent out the apology, and I am saying it once again exclusively on the L-Tido podcast,” he says.
