The wedding season appears to be in full swing, while the month of love was officially celebrated in February, this has not stopped some of our A-list celebrities from expressing affection as they take the next steps into their relationship.

While many may have been surprised to discover that former Miss Universe title holder Zozibini Tunzi said her “I do’s” this past weekend, yet another one of our celebrities has done the same.

Orlando Pirates star Innocent Maela and his long-term girlfriend, the SuperSport presenter Zenande Funani are now both officially off the market.

This weekend it was their turn to walk down the church aisle as they made the life-long commitment of spending the rest of their lives together when they tied the knot on Human Rights Day.

In a post shared on social media, the bubbly sports presenter expressed excitement ahead of the big day.

“I cannot believe that I’m about to marry my best friend! I love and appreciate that man so much! He is so excited, and that makes me even more excited! Oh, iSthandwa sam. God has been so good to us.”

While the couple are yet to share some pictures of what went down behind the scenes of the celebrations, many of their guests were more than happy to provide followers with a closer glimpse of the wedding ceremony.
