Actress and TV personality Omuhle Makaziwe Gela recently shared the details of her lip-neutralising procedure on social media.

For those who may not know what the procedure entails, Omuhle explained in her post the process formulates and creates a brighter and even tone on the lips.

Taking to her Instagram she wrote: “Thank you to @masterbrows_mb for a seamless procedure. Here is a bit of information about the procedure.

“Lip neutralising, the aim of this process is specifically formulated to neutralise the lip colour and create a brighter and even tone. (My lower lip original colour was perfect, so I wanted to create a gloss and go effect without having to use lipstick to even the lips).

“After the procedure, you will leave with a reddish coral tone but it will heal into a soft natural pink or red. It is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo. The colour develops over a period of 8-10 weeks. Skin tones (brown/purples) will need three to four sessions to get the desired look.”
