Some fans reacted with excitement and congratulated the poet.

One user said: “Yes yes, yes ..very important people on this podcast.”

Another user said: “Oh! Congratulations, proud of you.”

Another fan took to opportunity not only to congratulate the activist but also to advise her on her new venture saying: “Ntsiki I love you but I’m gonna keep it real; please stick to a consistent upload schedule and allow your channel time and patience to grow. I’m not involving you here; that situation I completely understand and you had to leave; but I’ve supported every time you’ve uploaded and had content on your own YouTube channel and it’s always one or four videos and then nothing, and I really think you have a voice that South Africa desperately needs on YouTube.”

The user continued by saying such content is a breath of fresh air as many content creators in South Africa intend to only focus on beauty, lifestyle and celebrities.

“I’m not a celeb gossip person and couldn’t care less about beauty, dating and lifestyle content, and SA seems to be over-invested in those genres so things like this are a breath of fresh air. I really think this could (and should) be big if you just allow us to let it grow,” the user wrote.

Ntsiki was appreciative of the comment as she simply responded by saying:

“Then allow it sisi,” she wrote.
