
The South African Music Awards is an event on the calendar that most music lovers look forward to. The event honours musicians across multiple genres for the work they produce, which contributes to the entertainment scene.
With the award ceremony only taking place once a year, singers, rappers and producers all hope that they will have done enough to get the nod to win the top prize in their categories.
Recently, SAMAs released the list of nominees that will battle it out at this year’s event ceremony and one person who found herself beyond excitement was Ntando Duma.
The actress and TV personality took to Instagram to share that she was among the list of candidates nominated for the Music Video of the Year award.
In her post, she wrote:
“What an incredible time to be a multifaceted queen. Blessed with the opportunity to pour my heart and soul into a project that showcases my creativity and thoughts.”
“Imagine your work being nominated for a SAMA Award. Haibo nina! Hamba Juba, a music video that I produced and directed is nominated under ‘Music Video of the Year’ category at this year’s SAMA’s! God is so good!”

She later added that this is a testament to the power of her hard work, dedication and belief in herself.
She later extended her appreciation to the award-winning DJ, Lady Amar and her team for allowing her to express her creativity in the music video.
In an encouraging message to her followers, she wrote: “Your dreams hold the key to unlocking unimaginable possibilities – never doubt their potential to transform your life.”
