The Mommy Club‘s cast member Nozipho Ntshangase’s marriage became a topic of discussion on many social media platforms after a video of an argument with her husband Zola Ntshangase – who wanted the keys to the car – surfaced online.

Nozipho, a mother of eight, joined the second season of the reality show, giving viewers a glimpse of her busy and luxurious life.

In the video, the husband, who is begged by the kids and his helper to calm down, gets aggravated after he continuously asks Nozipho to give him the keys so that he can leave.

Speculations of a second relationship surfaced on the internet after the video made its way to the public, with many labelling Zola with all sorts of names.

Through the Ntshangase Family Trust, Zola released a statement that confirms there’s a second wife for whom he has paid lobola, as shared by MDN News on the social media platform X (former Twitter).

The statement detailed:

“I wish to confirm the rumours circulating on social media as true. The Ntshangase family (kaKolisi), in accordance with our traditions and culture, has initiated lobola negotiations with the Maize family, and the process is still ongoing and heading towards finality.”

He added that he was aware of the backlash, stigmatisation and abuse that his soon-to-be second wife, Ms Misokuhle was receiving from the media.

“I, therefore, request that we observe the above in our endeavour to prosecute Ms Misokuhle in the court of public opinion without having an account of the full facts in what is still a very personal and sensitive matter,” added the father of eight.

He concluded by noting his support for Nozipho, adding:

“I have always loved and supported my wife in all her endeavours, and I continue to do so. This includes the matter of the very same platform that now seeks to nullify my role in her life and cast me as a villain and a chauvinist.”
