‘Now bring your son home’ – Nota Baloyi advises Jub Jub after case withdrawal

by Bongiwe Mati

Media personality Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye had all charges against him withdrawn by the court after the director of public prosecution confirmed there was no case to proceed with.

Jub Jub had multiple charges laid against him in a case opened by his former lover Amanda Du Pont on allegations of assault, multiple accounts of rape and attempted murder.

The alleged crimes are said to have occurred over a decade ago when the two were in a relationship. With the case only reported recently, there wasn’t much evidence to back it up hence it was thrown out of court.

Celebrating the withdrawal of the charges, the Uyajola99 presenter shared a lengthy post on his X (former Twitter) on the matter, also thanking God for his mercy.

After seeing Jub Jub’s post, controversial music director Nota Baloyi commented on his post advising him to bring his son who he shares with multi-award-winning songstress Kelly Khumalo, home.

Kelly and Jub Jub’s relationship was fuelled with allegations of physical abuse and drug use leading to the Asine hitmaker cutting all ties with Jub Jub.

This also meant cutting the relationship he had with their son Christian as he has not seen his son after coming out of jail after serving four years of his eight years prison sentence. Kelly has since shared that no attempt came from the TV presenter to see his son, vowing to keep Christian away from him.

Now bring your son home… You owe yourself a good relationship with your ID photo!✊?❤️
