The controversial music executive, Nhlamulo Nota Baloyi, seems to be supporting his fellow brother in the online Gender-Based Violence (GBV) that occurred between media personality, Minenhle Minnie Dlamini and podcaster, McGyver ‘MacG’ Mukwevho.
This is after Nota took to his X (formerly Twitter) page to share his opinion after Minnie threatened to sue MacG for what he said about her. However, Nota felt like lawyers would be wasting money fighting for Minnie because he believes that nothing about what MacG said was unlawful.
He justified his statement by saying: “There isn’t a vagina that doesn’t stink from time to time and as a public figure you are subject to public scrutiny or speculation.”

Minnie recently found her tongue around this controversy by penning a statement citing that she has received an apology from the podcaster through their attorneys. She mentioned that the comments made by MacG on his podcast, Podcast and Chill, were vile, humiliating and inexcusable.
She shared that she felt like the podcast apology was offered because they were trying to save their brand’s reputation and not because of her trauma.
“To apologise now when public pressure threatens their image is to centre their own brand’s damage rather than the trauma inflicted on others.”
The former Rockville actress revealed that she will pursue legal actions because, as a public figure and a mother, she is obliged to act for every woman whose dignity is violated in the name of content and entertainment.
