Reality TV star Nonku Williams has announced her departure from The Real Housewives of Durban. The fan-favourite housewife, known for her memoir and outspoken personality, revealed on Instagram that she won’t be returning to the show or attending the reunion.

Nonku cited her discomfort with how she’s been portrayed on the show, stating that the woman she sees on screen isn’t someone she recognises or respects. She acknowledged that she’s played a role in shaping the narrative but also feels she’s been shaped by the show’s dynamics. She expressed gratitude to her fans for their support during her journey on the show.

Entertainment commentator Jabu McDonald confirmed Williams’ departure on his X (formerly Twitter) account, stating that she won’t be returning for a new season. Celebrity blog Maphepha Ndaba shared Williams’ reasons for leaving, highlighting her struggles with the show’s portrayal of her.
