New information on Black Coffee’s travel accident revealed

Following the reports of world-renowned, award-winning deejay Black Coffee’s severe accident on his flight to Mar del Plata, Argentina, new details have since been shared.

News of the incident was first shared on Black Coffee’s social media platforms on Wednesday evening, stating that it “resulted in unforeseen circumstances” and left the Grammy winner with “some injuries.”

The statement further read:

“We can confirm that he is receiving the best possible medical attention and is surrounded by a supportive family and team.”

According to the British publication Daily Mail, Black Coffee’s flight experienced severe turbulence on Sunday while flying from Brazil to Argentina. He was then hospitalised in Montevideo, the capital city of Uruguay, after sustaining “severe blows to his body.”

The above-mentioned publication further shared that a statement from the nightclub Mute (first published by Argentinian press) where Black Coffee was to perform, revealed the information:

“Dear Argentinian fans, Black Coffee regrets to inform you that as a result of severe air turbulence on his private plane from Florianopolis to Mar del Plata, he had to make an emergency landing at Montevideo Airport. He suffered severe blows to his body and at this moment he is at a clinic in the same city under observation.”
