The actress made her appearance on the show on Tuesday. Daily Sun reports that her storyline will focus on her co-parenting responsibilities with Thapelo who will meet his son for the first time.

While Nelisiwe is no stranger to life on an eTV she has recently experienced change after having to switch locations from living in Durban to now relocating to Johannesburg where Scandal! is filmed.

Speaking to Daily Sun she said that the transition has been one that has left her with mixed emotions but that she is excited about the opportunity that was presented.

The 32-year-old won’t be swimming in a small pool, this comes as Scandal! recently received an award for Most Popular TV or Telenovela.

Reflecting on what it means to be on a production of this calibre she said:

“It means I’m on a good path especially being part of a big production such as Scandal! It shows that I actually do have this thing, and these people believe in me.

“Getting a gig is always a blessing, especially in this industry where it’s so competitive. We face countless rejections before landing that one ‘yes.”
