Nasty C promises to make Ivyson Tour an exciting one

by Sergio Miller

It is all systems go for Nasty C ahead of his much-anticipated Ivyson Tour.

After a period of silence the self-proclaimed “Coolest Kid in Africa” is ready to entertain fans from various parts of the country with the return of his music concert which aims to take some of his devoted followers on a musical journey.

The concert is set to take place at Cabo Beach Club at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town on the 29th of March.

Earlier this month, the Lemon’s & Lemonade rapper started the countdown with a campus tour to the Durban University of Technology, the University of Pretoria as well as the University of the Western Cape where he gave students a mini-performance and a snippet of what to expect when the event officially kicks off.

Meanwhile, he recently spoke to the news and entertainment publication TshisaLIVE where he shared that this year promises to be different.

“I want people to leave feeling like they were part of something special, not just watching a performance but really experiencing the music. We’re bringing new elements such as gaming, some surprises and, of course, the music is going to be next level,” he said.

He added that there is a sense of excitement in the air ahead of this year’s tour and that there are a few locations across the continent where he is looking forward to performing.

While the selection criteria to have the tour come to certain cities was a nail-biting process, some other cities that made the shortlist included Durban and Johannesburg.
