Nasty C nominated in the UK for “Artist of the year Africa”

Rapper Nasty C, seem to be impressing his fans a lot these days, the artist is consistently trending on social media platforms for good news.

The hitmaker is now nominated for “Artist of the year Africa” for Urban Music Awards 2023 in London, UK.

According to the Organiser’s of the awards, “The Urban Music Awards is the NO. 1 premiere R&B, HipHop, Soul and Dance Music awards ceremony in the world. The Urban Music awards ceremony is held annually in the USA, UK, France, Caribbean, and Japan with plans to expand to Asia, Dubai and Africa.”

Although the Zulu born rapper is representing Africa on international stages and putting it on the map, he’s brand is mentioned with the like of Chris Brown who also bagged multiple nominations at the same awards and had previously shared Nasty C’s freestyle to his 130 million Instagram following.

In the “Artist of the year Africa” category, the nominated African artists who will be competing for the awards are Davido, Diamond platinum, Burna boy, Rema, Wizkid, Angelique Kidjo, Fireball DML, Stanely Enow, Youssow N’Dour, Libianca and Tems.

These awards will take place on the 28th of February 2023 and voting is through Urban Music Awards website.

As if that’s not enough, Sound City Africa have announced their nomination list for their MVP Awards and the freestyle rapper along with AKA are nominated for their collaboration song called Lemons to Lemonade in the “best hip-hop” category.

At only 25 years old, the rapper has shown his a player in the rap game.
