Nasty C and Blxckie are flying the South African flag proudly overseas.
Both posted pictures on Instagram recently of their meetings with two of the biggest international music artists, Chris Brown and Nelly Furtado.
The picture of Nasty C standing next to Chris Brown was taken while the two were together in London. Nasty C posted two images – the first manipulated to make him look gigantic next to Brown. He posted the original a few hours later.
The pictures appeared with a simple caption – “Meet your idols”.

Comments on the post, including from L-Tido, Boity and Cassper Nyovest, gave Nasty C props for being able to mingle and collaborate with international music stars. IOL reported that Brown had co-signed the 25-year-old in January, posting a clip of Nasty C rapping on the YouTube freestyle platform On The Radar Radio.
Durban-based rapper Blxckie, meanwhile, met pop star Nelly Furtado and posted a picture of the two in a recording studio in Los Angeles, California. He’s been in the US recording with different artists and performing at venues around the country with his personal DJ, DJ Double D.

Furtado was among the many who commented on his post.
“❤️❤️❤️❤️?❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Furtado said.
Cassper Nyovest just said, “Legendary”, and Shekinah commented, “Screaming”.
