Nampree, a GBV activist, said she is celebrating Jub Jub’s “demise” following his arrest and release on bail yesterday.

According to the South African, the former Uyajola 99 presenter is facing charges of alleged rape, assault and attempted murder.

A video of Jub Jub, real name Molemo Maarohanye, being praised by hundreds of followers was published online just a few days ago.

South Africans were shocked to find that he had turned himself in to police in Brixton after a warrant for his arrest had been issued.

According to reports, the TV host and musician has been accused of rape, assault, and attempted murder, all of which he denied before the Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court.

To no surprise, he was subsequently released on R10 000 bail.

Many were celebrating his arrest, with one particular person, Nampree, being especially happy about the arrest.

On Twitter, Nampree states that the news was not shocking at all. She further alludes to have “prayed for his downfall.”

Jub Jub being arrested for rape, attempted murder and assault is not shocking. Not shocking AT ALL,” she wrote.
