Local rapper Nadia Nakai and her bestie Tshego are diving into the world of podcasting with their take on modern relationships.

According to SA HipHop Mag, the series promises to be an unfiltered view of messy relationships as the two tackle often controversial topics.

Taking to Instagram, the Bragga rapper said: “@tshego_worldwide and I have been good friends for years! So it was only fitting to drop a podcast!

“We have conversations all the time when either of us needs advice on the opposite gender because yall can VEX DAMN!!!!.”

Nakai asked how women are supposed to navigate the dating world if they don’t have a male best friend to explain the intricacies of the male mind.

“We decided to film some of those conversations because we all go thru the same sh*t,” she said.

The first episode of Nadia x Tshego aired on Monday where they discussed: “What boundaries should we put in place with the people we’re seeing?”

Raw and unapologetic, Nakai warned that the subject matter could offend some people: “We kept it super honest, unfiltered and we might offend! Hang In there lol!”

Fans were quick to congratulate the duo. A Nadia Nakai fan account comment: “We are ready!” with flame emojis. Another asked: “What about a collab tape?”

A comment on YouTube read: “This level of honesty, I truly respect. This was fun.”

Their YouTube channel currently has just under 200 subscribers with the majority giving their first episode a thumbs up.
