Mzansi remembers the late Riky Rick

It has been a year since the late hip-hop musician Rhikhado Makhado known as Riky Rick died. He died on the 23rd of February 2022.

People from all across Mzansi are celebrating his life and the late rapper’s brain child Cotton Fest is gathering everyone to keep his memory alive.

His long time friend Mome, shared on Instagram “A year later it still feels like yesterday,” says Mome.

Cotton Fest, led by Bianca Naidoo who is the late rapper’s wife is bringing people together to celebrate the life of Riky.

Tributes by fans came flocking in on all social media pages as people remember Ricky Rick.

This rapper’s untimely death left Mzansi in shambles after it was reported that he is no more. The musician took his own life at the age of 34 and according to IOL his last words to his wife were “I’m on my way home, I love you.”

Close friends and family of Richado shared that the rapper had been going through an ongoing battle with depression.
