Mother to two little girls, DJ Zinhle, recently shared that she feels her daughters are overexposed after receiving backlash from social media users.

According to SowetanLIVE, the deejay stated that she will be more cautious and intentional about removing eight-year-old Kairo Forbes and two-year-old Asante Mohosana from social media platforms.

“I definitely think that my children are overexposed, and this came from us just being comfortable with social media because we never thought there was a threat,” she told the above-mentioned publication. “I’m not saying there is a threat now but we are more intentional about removing them from social media more and more and that’s something we’re fixing.”

The Thula record producer is also getting ready for the return of her reality show, The Unexpected. In the third season’s teaser trailer, viewers get a glimpse of Kairo and Asante, as well as Kairo’s grandmother, Lynn Forbes.

DJ Zinhle also shared with the SowetanLIVE that the reality show will be used to address a few issues that arose from trolls online. “A lot of things get said and misinterpreted online and anything that affects me in my personal life will become part of the show because it is reality.”

Referring to a video of herself and her friend Nomuzi ‘Moozlie’ Mabena posing with award-winning artist Usher, the deejay said, “One issue that was personal to me was the Usher saga because I have a work relationship with him and an alcohol brand, but it was interpreted in such a weird way in SA, and sometimes I feel like I can use the show to shed more light on such things and how they make me feel.”
