Asanda Lusaseni Mvana popularly known as Msaki has revealed that she needs time to herself and is taking a break from music.

The song writer poured out her heart on Twitter detailing to her supporters why she has taken this decision.

“I don’t wanna be known or in front of people. That’s a bi-product of my devotion to my passion. It shouldn’t make me a victim to a violation of privacy of a complete twisting of the truth. But I get it; we are all victims here. It’s ok,” she tweeted.

“This space is not for me. I’m not a celebrity, something too unduly pedestaled or pardoned when I’m wrong , or pulled apart when the internet trolls are bored. I’m a devotee. I cannot be turned into a spectacle just because my focus has become boring to some,” she added.

The Ubomi Abumanga hit maker revealed that she had planned to take this break on her birthday the 31st of December but could not wait till then as it was pouring out of her at that moment.

“I thought this message would be on my birthday, the 31st of December. But it’s just pouring out of me today. Be kind to the trolls, they are hurting deep,” she said.

The East London born star seems to have taken this decision following the cheating allegations with Massive Music presenter Smash Afrika.

The music star did not respond directly to the cheating allegations but instead emphasised her focus on music and to encourage others.

“Nisafety guys? (Are you safe) Nothing has changed here. I have nothing but love for you and I will always be focused on my attempts to write songs to encourage and to uplift. I know many of you see my heart. My devotion is to sing us better. That’s my purpose here. Namaste Otherwise,Love Msaki,” she said.
