by Zaghrah Anthony

From Monaco to Dubai to Iceland: A Wedding Tour Like No Other

Afrobeats sensation Mr Eazi and long-time partner Temi Otedola recently turned heads and broke the internet with what many are calling a “royal wedding” that spanned three countries. After eight years together, the couple celebrated their love in style, blending private romance, cultural tradition, and high-fashion glamour.

Their extravagant celebrations not only had fans buzzing but also caught the attention of Vogue, with the September issue featuring highlights of the nuptials, cementing the wedding as a cultural and fashion moment on a global scale.

Monaco: A Private Beginning with Deep Meaning

The first chapter of their wedding story took place on May 9 in Monaco, a date that holds personal significance as the birthday of Mr Eazi’s late mother. In a serene court wedding, the couple shared an intimate ceremony that reflected both elegance and personal sentiment.

Otedola stunned in a white corset and skirt ensemble by Wiederhoeft, adorned with embroidered carnations and baby’s breath, topped with a chic cropped jacket. Mr Eazi complemented her perfectly in a custom grey Louis Vuitton suit.

Temi shared a heartfelt Instagram tribute, writing:
“Let’s go back to the very start… On May 9th, 2025, Mummy Ajibade’s Birthday, we had our Court Wedding in Monaco exactly how we always imagined… Just the two of us. Love is Eazi Beings.”

The celebrations didn’t stop there. The couple switched to striking black-and-white ensembles, with Temi in a polka-dot Christopher John Rogers dress paired with a statement black hat, while Mr Eazi wore a sleek black suit, proving their flair for fashion extends beyond just one look.

Dubai: Honoring Tradition and Family

For their second wedding event, the couple returned to Temi’s family home in Dubai on July 5 for a Nigerian traditional ceremony. The day was a vibrant mix of cultural rituals, heartfelt prayers, and joyous celebration with close family and friends.

Otedola’s off-white dress, highlighted by an oversized bow at the back, was a showstopper. She later revealed she wore five custom-designed outfits throughout the celebrations, one of which paid homage to Mr Eazi’s late mother and his Nigerian heritage.

“On July 5th of 2025, we had our Traditional Ceremony at my family home in Dubai. It was a day filled with prayer, thanksgiving and pure joy, surrounded by our nearest and dearest,” she captioned on Instagram.

Fans across social media praised the couple for blending modern luxury with deep cultural respect, sparking conversations about how African and global fashion can coexist beautifully.

Iceland: A Fairytale Finale

The final wedding celebration brought Mr Eazi and Temi to Iceland, where the couple exchanged their official “I do’s” in a dramatic, snowy setting. Otedola channeled Audrey Hepburn in a long-sleeve Fendi Haute Couture gown, while Mr Eazi looked dapper in a classic Yves Saint Laurent tuxedo.

Temi’s succinct caption for the final ceremony summed up the journey perfectly: “Mr and Mrs Ajibade.”

Setting a New Standard for Global Weddings

What makes this wedding remarkable is not just the locations or fashion, but how the couple made fans feel like part of their journey. Temi’s social media updates, showcasing behind-the-scenes moments and stunning outfits, brought followers along for a three-country celebration that blended personal meaning, cultural heritage, and global glamour.

From the intimate streets of Monaco to Dubai’s family-centered celebration and Iceland’s icy elegance, Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola have redefined what it means to celebrate love, proving that weddings today can be both personal and globally inspiring.
