Like most of us, media personality Moshe Ndiki spent his festive season in the Eastern Cape with his family and loved ones.

As it is known, the Eastern Cape is mostly dominated by the older generations and traditionalists of the family, which makes it not so Queer friendly. However, Moshe’s heartfelt clips that he shared on socials show otherwise.

Recently, Moshe took to his Instagram page to celebrate the love that he received from his family during the holidays. In the first clip he shared, Moshe can be seen capturing the video, where he stands in front of men who are sitting circularly; at a cultural event. In the clip, he said: “Hi Besties.” referring to them, and they replied, “Hi Besty.”

In the caption of his post, Moshe highlighted how his uncles love him. “Being Queer, accepted, and loved by my family especially the ones that come from an older generation, in the rural areas is something I will never take for granted. I speak openly about my gayness; they advise on what type of guys I should avoid, like how proud they are and the mistakes I make. We love, we correct, we laugh,” he penned.

The clips that portray love and support for Moshe have Instagram users leaving heartwarming messages in the comment section.

One user said: “I wouldn’t trade y’all for nothing, forever grateful for this amazing family.”

While in Ngqamakwe, Eastern Cape, Moshe took pictures in front of the Ngqamakwe Luxury Guesthouse. He took to his Instagram page to share an earnest tribute to his late uncle, Zamuxolo who passed away in 2024; and his dad who passed away in 2023.
