Leanne Manas and her husband, Marc Menelaou, are celebrating their two decades of marital bliss!
It is often said, “behind every successful man is a strong woman.” However, the same sentiments could be echoed about the successful women in our country.
Known for anchoring the news on one of South Africa’s most well-known breakfast shows, Morning Live, the vibrant personality that is Leanne Mannas holds a special place in the hearts of viewers, many of whom have grown up waking up to daily news updates and keeping up to date on current affairs with her at the helm.
While most would praise her for the work she did in creating awareness on societal plagues in our country, this time she paid a special tribute to a man who has done a stellar job at being her anchor in both good and bad times – her husband, Marc.
This week, the happily weds celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary and appear to be as in love as the first time they laid their eyes on one another.
Taking to Instagram, Leanne shared a heartwarming post honouring Marc for the love he has shown her and their family over the years.
“Happy 20th anniversary to the man I would choose over and over again!” she wrote.
“I adored you then, and I think…hang on … I DO adore you even more now! Can’t wait for more and more and more everything moments with you! You are stuck with me until forever!” she jokingly added.

The recent celebration is one of two milestone achievements that she has marked recently.
In June last year, she also marked 20 years since first joining the Morning Live team.
“Twenty years later, I walked back onto that magnificent SABC set last week and burst with pride all over again. The production crew, the producers, the reporters, the researchers, the graphics developers, the news writers, the makeup artists, the set dressers—the list is endless—it’s these people who make the public broadcaster a pride to be a part of,” she posted at the time.
