In a very lengthy post, the 32 year old star posted a cute selfie with her daughter and spoke about her approach to co-parenting.

Mona revealed that the journey has been challenging but has chosen to find the positive in everything pertaining to co-parenting.

The actress shared these tips for her followers who are on the co-parenting journey:

  1. Be the peacemaker, not the aggressor
  2. Remember that your child has an independent relationship with both of you
  3. Choose what’s best for the child
  4. Be graceful in the face of adversity
  5. Choose to walk away from conflict rather than make things worse
  6. Heal your own pain so you don’t function from EGO
  7. Don’t make your drama with your co-parent your child’s problem
  8. PRAY!!!!

The actress also revealed that even though she grew up without her father, she has made a choice to not keep her daughter from hers.

“As a mother who grew up without her dad, I made a choice that no matter what happens, my daughter will never have to suffer me trying to keep her from hers.

I choose love and light above all the darkness. Even when it takes every ounce of my strength to do so,” she said.
