After it was announced that Tol A$$ Mo and Mome Mahlangu would be going their separate ways, many were shocked. While the comedian was not shy to share his feelings regarding his personal situation, Mome remained mum. Now, the mother-of-three has broken her silence.

Tol A$$ Mo (real name Mongezi Mahlangu) previously appeared on DJ Fresh’s podcast What A Week where he revealed that he was in the process of divorcing his wife of 11 years. He also revealed that he was traumatised by black women. This after he was accused of rape by Lerato Moloi in 2022, an accusation that affected his marriage. “I’m traumatised to a point that I don’t want to have a black wife again,” he told DJ Fresh.

Not revealing too much, Mome recently took to Instagram to share her thoughts and feelings. She wrote, “When pain knocks on your door, welcome it and let it in, then sit with it (I sat with it on my own for 5 months). I had tea with it so I can understand it and IT’s purpose in my life for my personal growth and mental wellbeing.”

She then shared that she has now chosen to let it out to avoid storing anger in her “beautiful soul.”

“[T]hen I gained a healed and calm version of HER and she is still full of love and kindness. Above all the scars she collected on her journey, it has strengthened and rekindled her understanding of who God is in her life. I feel good and lighter, things have to hurt before they heal so allow it no rush ?❤️.”

In a separate post, Mome shared, “When everyone left, God stayed. So I fear nothing, I continue to take care of my kids and our household ❤️? nothing takes away from who you are inside and outside.”
